From NC-17 to PG-13: mobile pr0n and violent games a no-go

In all reality, we can't say we're all that surprised that certain carriers
(coughCingularcough) are beginning to pull out (ha!) of the wireless adult content arena. Though the FCC has mandated that mobile carriers can't filter content, they're still allowed to make things "less accessible" on their WAP portals and whatnot. All the same, apparently a lot of industry suits are surprised at how into the vids certain people are, despite the screen sizes available today (Jobs, you listening? People really do want a video iPornPod!). But what it really all comes down to is the fact that Darwinian economics just can't handle porn; not even a $5.99 pricetag to download images of clothed women on a cellphone could stop people from gobbling up content. Come on now.
