You only own one cellphone?
Just when you thought having the latest Bluetooth-video-camera-game-smartphone was enough to establish your techie cred, it turns out that you're behind the curve. Way behind, that is, if you live in the U.S. About 57% of Americans have cellphones, while in Hong Kong and Taiwan, there are, respectively, 105.75 and 110 cellphone accounts per 100 residents. This means that there are at least a few cellphone users in Hong Kong and Taiwan with multiple accounts.
While some of the duplication can probably be explained by customers having both work and personal cellphones, we suspect that a not-insignificant number of these users are inveterate multitaskers, texting or surfing on one phone while talking on the other. Either that or they're talking to themselves.
