Dash-mount audio player with built-in ripping

We can see it now. You're stuck in bumper-to-bumper, tired of staring at the brake lights in front of you, looking for something to relieve the boredom. Hey! Why not rip a few CDs?
That seems to be the thinking behind the Estone Ripper, a dashboard mounted audio player that can rip CDs directly to its integrated 20GB drive. While there's a lot to like about the Ripper—including its built-in AM/FM radio and its USB-portable hard drive—we can't help but think that the whole idea of ripping on the road for a mere $645 is something that should probably be left at the curb. Unless it can transcode to FLAC or APE, then maybe we'd reconsider.
