DARPA's and Berkeley's BEAR robocopter

We can say in all confidence that 2004 is definitely the year of the autonomous robot. But autonomous bots that can operate in urban environments are the holy grail of unmanned drones (and apparently pilotless choppers are the most difficult of all). Berkeley researchers, however, have developed the BEAR (Berkeley Aerial Robot), which can self-navigate through complicated cityscapes with its laser obstacle avoidance system; they even flew two of the robocopters straight at one another and each adjusted its course appropriately. But we want to know: which one flinched first? That one's so getting dumped by its
girlfriend.
