Reader Andy Brenner went to Japan last month and actually experienced first-hand one of those sushi restaurants that
calculates your bill by scanning RFID tags
attached to each of the plates. Fortunately for us he snapped a picture of one of the plates, flipping it over to reveal the waterproof RFID tag glued underneath.
