Giant International announces Tao WiFi MP3 player
We're not really sure who they are (then again, are we ever?) but Giant International introduced the Tao WiFi MP3 today, which is, you guessed it, a WiFi MP3 player. The device lets you download music from anywhere you have WiFi access (we presume you can also use a cable to speed things up a bit), not too differently than the SoniqCast
Aireo (and
Aireo 2, for that matter); looks like it'll only be available in one model though, 20GB for $350. But you have to give 'em props, since this seems to be one of the first MP3 players that adds an FM receiver and transmitter to the mix. The only thing we don't know is, well,
what it looks like.
