VisiFone announced, Viseon partners with TI and VTech

Today's a busy day for Viseon, who've been hard at work behind the scenes prepping their rumored
Vonage videophone, the VisiFone. They're claiming CD
quality sound (i.e. decent-bitrate compressed audio, no doubt) and TV-quality video (via H.264, no surprise there).
We're anxious to see it (we'll have some pics for ya soon enough), but we've still got our doubts that this is going to fly with capped cable and slower DSL connections.

They also announced a parntership with TI to make use of two of their VoIP chips (one phone, one digital media); they didn't explain the exact nature of their partnership with VTech, but we're assuming it's some sort of OEM gig using TI's technology for their new Digital Home Telephone.
