Ningbo Bird not buying Siemens' cellphone business

Remember last month how it looked like Siemens was going to sell their profit-free cellphone business to Ningbo Bird, that up and coming Chinese cellphone manufacturer?
Yeah, that's not going to happen. Siemens was pretty cagey when the rumors about this broke last month, and now Ningbo Bird is confirming that not only are they not considering the purchase, they've never even been approached by Siemens about it. Not that it means Siemens isn't looking to sell, apparently they've gotten good at losing money on every handset they sell.
