XM releases Connect-and-Play, gonna hit hard in the home

We gotta hand it do XM, they've been getting hit hard by Sirius with the announcements, but their new Connect-and-Play plan could have some real merit behind it: basically they want to put cheap XM receivers in home entertainment devices that become enabled for XM use by simply jacking in an XM Connect-and-Play antenna. We're not sure what the dollar amount of putting XM circuits in lots of new gear is,
but we assume it'll be cheap, and it'll immediately start sneaking its way into your living room onboard new gear from Boston Acoustics, Crosley Eton, Denon, GPX, Harman Kardon, LG Electronics, Orient Power, Onkyo, Polk Audio, Pioneer,
and Thomson/RCA. Unfortunately the $50 antenna to get these devices going won't be available until March 2005, so keep your pants on until they deploy that base.
