EverQuest II: Sony planning "adventure pack"

Sony Online has cooked up a clever tease in order to hook players into the first update for EQII, known as an "adventure pack".  A new area complete with new quests, items, & monsters will be accessible (in part) to all subscribers for free. 

The new quests are designed to flesh out more of the story behind the dark elf race, but if players wish to continue exploring this new content they will have to pay a "small fee".  The release date and exact fee have yet to be announced.  We will keep you posted.
