Nintendo set for portable onslaught in '05

1.3 million DS units were sold last year in North America, and that's nothing compared to 8 million GBA sales.  And to keep those buyers satisfied, Nintendo of America plans to launch nearly 250 titles for its portable devices in 2005; over 120 for the DS alone.

These numbers should help to offset the diminishing sales of the GameCube, which is being dumped by a number of UK retailers.
