HP working on redesigns of their rx1715 and h6315 iPAQ Pocket PCs
When you think about it, what would really be surprising would be if they weren't planning some new versions of their iPAQ, but HP confirmed for BargainPDA that they'll be coming out with a redesigned version of their entry-level
rz1715 Pocket PC (which has gotten scathing reviews) and a less bulky version of the attachable keyboard that comes with their
h6315 Pocket PC Phone (pictured at right). They're also thinking of possibly even integrating it into the h6315 itself somehow. Free advice for HP: take advantage of the fact that you can easily switch from portrait to landscape mode in Windows Mobile and make the keyboard on the next version of the h6315 slide out sideways—check out the design of
OQO for an example of what we're talking about.
