Sprayable Infrared Detector
Researchers at the University of Toronto have developed a sprayable infrared-sensitive material that can, in effect,
see in the dark. The technology could have wide-ranging applications, such as walls responsive to the environment of a room, digital cameras that work in the dark, or clothing that converts the sun's power into electrical energy. All practical uses to be sure but, don't worry, there's bound to be some cooler and decidedly less-useful applications cropping up sooner or later.
