Mac mini-based synth planned
Apple may have planned the Mac mini as a box to get Windows users to switch platforms, but the computer's diminutive size and respectable specs are rapidly leading to a booming market for modded and custom-mounted minis — or at least a booming virtual market for such setups, since most of these are still just concepts. One new entry: The Cynthia Macintosh, a mini paired with a touchscreen LCD display and custom MIDI rack. No pricing or shipping info yet, but we're assuming for now that this really will exist at some point, unlike some more speculative mini variants.
