Hackers offer guides to help "fix" Motorola V710
If you're one of the lucky Verizon customers with a dumbed-down Motorola V710 cellphone, you've got a couple of options: you can join the class-action lawsuit
against Verizon, or you can hack the phone to re-enable Bluetooth and make other changes (actually, you can hedge your bets and do both). For anyone too squeamish to hack their phone without a guide, "dakev" has posted a blog with more details than you'll ever need about everything from changing the phone's startup animation to creating ringtones.
Actually, dakev doesn't tell you how to enable Bluetooth, but he provides a good beginner's guide to phone hacking and offers enough links for anyone who wants to go further.
