Pentax *ist DS vs. Olympus EVolt E-300: Affordable digital SLR catfight

Canon was the first hit the magic sub-$1000 price point with its EOS Digital Rebel SLR, now other camera manufacturers are getting into the fray with their own "low-cost" digital SLRs.  PC World compares the Pentax *ist DS and the Olympus EVolt E-300 Digital SLR and gives the Olympus a slight edge.  The Pentax does have one advantage though, it can use ether two disposable CR-3Vs or four regular AAs, while the Olympus (and most other digital SLRs) use proprietary rechargable batteries.
