Samsung's new Sonoma laptops, the X20, X25, X50, and P50
We've long lusted after Samsung's released-everywhere-but-America line of laptops, which have remained consistantly out of reach except by import. And nothing's changed with their new Sonoma-based lineup of the X20, X25, X50, and P50. Of course, if you're not familiar with Sonoma, it adds DDR2 SDRAM,
PCI-Express, 533MHz FSB, 802.11a/b/g WiFi, and faster CPU speeds to the mix (among other things). We don't have any straight specs on these guys right yet (sorry, we can't read Korean), but we can tell you that the WiFi will be
MIMO accelerated, they're using something called EBL (Extended Battery Life) which will boost battery performance to 6 hours (uh huh), and that there will be a port-relicator called the X-Dock available, which will provide DVI out. Damn their non-competes, we want you here, Samsung!
