T-Mobile reveals tiny bit more about 3G plans

We figure that sooner or later T-Mobile USA is going to have to get on the ball and detail their plans for 3G, and while they still haven't announced any firm plans yet, CEO Robert Dotson says that it's likely they're going to skip over the first-generation of 3G and go with a faster version of UMTS known as HSDPA, or high-speed downlink packet access. Cingular confirmed last month that they're also going to go with HSDPA, and that they aim to offer service in 15 to 20 cities by the end of the year, but it's going to take T-Mobile about a couple of years to get things going,
and right now their primary focus is on rolling
EDGE out to their subscribers as quickly as possible.
