Verizon getting Samsung's SCH-A890 EV-DO cameraphone

A couple of hours ago Verizon confirmed that the Samsung
SCH-A890, one of several new EV-DO
multimedia handsets they were showing off at CES a couple of weeks ago, is going to hit stores on February 1st. The A890, a clamshell-style 1.3 megapixel cameraphone with a 260,000 color LCD screen,
will be the latest phone to work with Verizon's new VCAST
streaming video-on-demand service.
