Acer TravelMate 8100 Sonoma-based laptop reviewed

Yes, it's another new Sonoma laptop — this one the
TravelMate 8100 from Acer. The folks at Digit-Life apparently got an early unit from Acer's Moscow rep and have already turned around a quick review.
We're impressed with the cloak-and-dagger work (why do we envision the box being pulled from an overcoat in a corner off Red Square?), and Digit-Life is generally impressed with the computer, pointing out that a new video controller
(which isn't necessarily Sonoma-related, of course) improves game performance.
