Siemens now says they're not selling their cellphone business

First Siemens was supposedly going to sell their ailing cellphone business to
Chinese manufacturer Ningbo Bird. Then they're not, and Ningbo Bird claims they were never even approached about it in the first place. So then a few weeks later there's a rumor that they're having so much trouble finding a buyer that they were considering just closing down the division entirely.  Then a German weekly reports on Wednesday that Korean manufacturer LG was interested and that the two companies were in acquisition talks, a report that was quickly repudiated by LG. Still with us? The latest chapter of this non-story is that Siemens has issued a denial that they have any plans to sell off their mobile division at all and are merely discussing internally about what they should do. Man, we almost wish we had never started paying attention in the first place.
