Wired thinks iPod = ‘tired’... again
Eight million iPod sales after Wired's January 2004 issue called the iPod "tired," and shortly after two million iPod shuffles moved in a single week, Wired Magazine still lists the iPod in the "tired" category as part of their usual "Wired, Tired, Expired" lists. That's a good thirteen months of being tired – poor iPod must be exhausted by now.
MacDailyNews has hopes they will soon list the iPod in the "expired"
category, which "should be good for at least 15 million or so additional annual unit sales."
The futureware iPhone makes it into the "Wired"
category, though. Luckily Wired is here to remind us lest we forget that in an ADD economy, vaporware is always hotter than realware. But shouldn't the iPod shuffle get a leg up, since it's
practically vaporware at this point, anyway?
