Gov. Blunt bans all games in Missouri prisons

You may have been following the ongoing
video game drama plaguing Missouri prisons.  Then again, you may not have been.  The latest in this endless saga is that the recently inaugurated governor, Matt Blunt (R), has banned video games entirely—Missouri was allowing sports & sci-fi games in their prisons.

Blunt believes that inmates should use their time to "pick up skills and abilities that will allow them to go back out into society and be productive citizens."  The governor added, "Playing video games doesn't have anything to do with either of those objectives."  Hold up, don't video games train us to be leaders?

With Missouri off the list there are now only 2 states that allow inmates to play video games.
