Mac mini at Best Buy

We all know that traditional electronics outlets usually don't fare well when trying to sell Macs. I recall when Sears jumped on the iMac bandwagon and started 'selling' them.  I remember going to Sears to purchase an iMac. The display model wasn't working, and they didn't have any in stock, but they could order it in a week or two and get back to me. The Apple Store experience it wasn't.

Now Macminute is reporting that
Best Buy will be carrying Mac mini.
This isn't Best Buy's first foray into Mac selling, but I think this time it will work out much better for all involved. The Mac mini is pretty much a see it and buy it item. I mean, it is cute, small, and fairly cheap. I am sure they will display them as 'iPod Add-ons.'
