Metal Slug Advance review is short and to the point, like the game
Worthplaying has a short review of Metal Slug Advance, the action shooter for the Game Boy Advance. If you're looking for a good, quick distraction from the grind, it sounds like the perfect solution. The title was designed from scratch, so there's no fast, quick-buck taste in your mouth after the first five minutes. There's a collectible card feature built in. It offers power-ups and bragging rights. The only catch is you can't die once or you lose all your cards. Harsh.
The series may be old, but with some new touches and old fashioned side-scrolling death, it just won't go out of style. Maybe now I can pull Fire Emblem out of my GBA. The cart has grown roots.
