Fuji announces 4 megapixel IR-enabled Q1 digicam

Fuji has announced an updated version of its round Q1 digital camera, with a couple of new features, but with the focus on style and price. They've upped the resolution to 4 megapixels, and have added the ability to print small pictures via IR using Fuji's Pivi P100 printer. Other than the IR printing, the camera's specs are fairly mundane. Its movie mode is only capable of a maximum resolution of 320×240, it transfers images via USB 1.1, and like other Fuji cameras (as well as some from Olympus), it stores images on xD cards. However, its unique shape and wireless printing may make it a hit in the low-end market staked out by the original 2 megapixel Q1. The camera will be available in Japan this month.
