The Godfather pics are violent

There are a few new screenshots of The Godfather available. The four pics sure are nice, with an old mob movie feel to them. The visuals have been touted as revolutionary. We like them, but we have to wonder if that term applies.

As far as the graphics go, the one trick we hope they can pull off is the facial gesture. It looks like they're going in the right direction, at least as far as "anger" and "fear" and "getting shot in the head" goes. The eyes are expressive and the facial muscles appear to contort realistically. If you want to see the engine in action you can check this clip out. It's a bit understated, but so were the first couple of films.
