Nintendo to open a store in New York City
Planet Gamecube reports that Nintendo has plans to give their products some shelves to sit on. The news was discovered when someone was browsing job listings and stumbled on a Manager position. It looks like the store will replace the Pokemon shop in Rockefeller Center.
From the jobs listing:
We are currently seeking a Retail Store Manager to oversee operations of an upcoming Nintendo concept store in Rockefeller Center, New York. This newly designed, state-of-the-art facility will allow Nintendo to highlight new videogames and products, driving customers through the store and creating an environment of the 'ultimate' game play experience.
It sounds like a great idea. Especially to those of us who live in NYC.
