Can you have too much space on your iPod?

Linda Skrocki raises a very
good point on her blog, is there such a thing as having TOO much iPod? She bought herself a 20 gig iPod, and only has 40 songs on it (which translates to 207MB's). Mind you, she did this before the
iPod shuffle, but I imagine many people get more iPod than they truly need.

I recently purchased a 40 gig iPod photo, so I thought it would be fun to take a look at the stats on it. Here they are:

  • Songs: 3856
  • Photos: 1939
  • Capacity: 37.2 GB
  • Available: 20.6 GB
  • Used: 16.6 GB

Looks like I made the right choice (or so I tell myself), how about you?
