3D Gamers gets sucked into IGN

In news that is sure to piss off a lot of people, the old, reliable 3D Gamers site has been acquired by IGN. 3D
Gamers is one of the best places to go for free, fast, international downloads without registration. In fact, we don't know of a better place to send you guys for care-free access to the latest files.

Our best guess is that the registration part is about to change. Maybe they'll surprise us. This will also mean yet another change in site format, which is actually okay. Their latest design leaves something to be desired.

It's always sad to see the Old Guard consumed by the Big Fish, but such is business. It's worked out okay for other IGN sites, so we have our fingers crossed. But we're on the record...don't add registration!
