Board games? Ski wax?! Just try and solve the mystery of the Nintendo V-Pocket!

What is the Nintendo V-Pocket? Well, nothing yet, as far as anyone outside of Nintendo can tell. Here's what we know:

  1. Nintendo has registered a trademark for something known as a "Nintendo V-Pocket"

  2. The patent was filed over two months ago, on December 7, 2004

  3. The trademark covers, among other things, board games, ski wax, LCD game machines, and "adapters that allow for
the display of images and audio recorded on memory cards."

  4. On the same day, Nintendo registered a trademark for something known only as "PCGP"

Just what could this mysterious V-Pocket be, and could it be in any way related to this PCGP? Was it perhaps an early working title for the Play-Yan? Does the "V" stand for "Virtual?" Is it perhaps a 21st century Game 'n Watch?
Does it have anything to do with a pair of pants? Is it a floor wax and a dessert topping? And my final question: just what kind of person takes the time out of their lives to go out and search for these kinds of things?
