The Godfather preview with detailed clip

We have a game clip, people. After looking at all the screenshots of The Godfather videogame, Gamespot is now dishing out a pretty detailed clip of the game engine. No gameplay here, but a good look at what the eye candy will look like. The lighting is spectacular. No question about it. The faces? Enh. The human face is the Holy Grail of computer animation. Personally, I hope developers spend a lot of time getting it right with the tools they'll be given for the next-gen. Half-Life 2 was a step in the right direction and a good foundation to build on.

The preview itself gets into the sandbox design of the game. The developers are modelling themselves after the godfather of all sandbox games, GTA. If they can grab that kind of play out of a great engine, and a story like The Godfather, this could be a formidable title.
