Is the Sony Ericsson S710a going to be crazy expensive?
There's some updated pricing information for the long-delayed Sony Ericsson S710a posted over at HowardForums. Supposedly Cingular is going to offer the phone for $549 without a contract, $499 with a 1 year service agreement, and $449 with a 2 year service agreement. As usual, it ain't legit until it's legit, but if this info is true we're going to be in for some serious sticker shock when this phone comes out. Yeah, the S710a is nice and all—it has a built-in 1.3 megapixel digital camera, Bluetooth, and a 2.3-inch 262,000 color display—but for that sort of coin you could pick up a Treo 650.
