File this one under "ooooOOOoooo." The DS's touch screen is the perfect place for the Palm OS. It makes sense for the device to be used for functions besides gaming; but will Nintendo abandon their usual tight grip on software development for their hardware? Will they really allow their users to use another OS? Sure, the rumors are only about Palm "abilities", but that still means the DS would have to run some semblance of the Palm OS. Or does it?
A few clues seem to say they're ready to make the move. If true, they must be betting that Sony will try something similar with the PSP. But how will Sony match the easy input of a stylus? Would a wireless keyboard be enough?
So many questions — and so much time to wait for answers!
