NanoBreaker: a lesson in mediocrity

Back in '97, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night hit the scene for the PSone.  Classic.  Enter: Lament of Innocence, the 2003 3D follow-up (not sequel)
by Koji Igarashi & his Konami team.  Not to knock Lament of Innocence, but it was clear that Igarashi's team's true talents lay in the 2D format.  It seems that they're giving it another go however, bringing us NanoBreaker, a bland, linear, repetitive slasher.  Yep.  Let's just hope this was the test pilot for the upcoming Castlevania: Curse of Darkness.
