TiVoToGo problems?

TiVo already annoyed plenty of TiVotees when by taking their own sweet time to roll out
TiVoToGo (which lets you copy shows from your TiVo's hard drive to your PC), now CNET reports that some subscribers are wishing they'd taken even longer and gotten things right. Apparently a number of TiVo owners who have gotten the software upgrade that enables TiVoToGo have complained about it wreaking some (minor) havoc with their digital video recorder, like causing channel changing to slow down and/or problems with picture distortion. Doesn't sound like it's too widespread, and a TiVo spokesperson dismissed these are the "typical bugs which are part of any software upgrade."
