EA has announced that resistance is futile, and "there will be no stopping us this time." Immediately following the threats, they announced a couple of pdf manuals on their Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle Earth site. The manuals will walk you through the creation of a multiplayer map, using their world editor.

Look at the bottom of the screen for the links, under the heading "World Domination 101." Sorry, make that "Map Building 101."
