If you blinked, you missed the new Tiger logo

UK Mac users may have caught a glimpse of a worldwide exclusive
new logo for Mac OS X Tiger that appeared in an Apple eNews e-mail on Wednesday. The inclusion of the logo appears to have been an accident, as later versions of the newsletter did not display it.

Thanks to the wonders of the digital media age, you can peep the new logo at right. The platinum-colored "X" is bolder than in previous designs and sports an off-color spotlight effect.

Bristol, UK Mac user Simon Bird said of the leak, "I'm assuming someone (at Apple) screwed up and will catch hell for it later." Doh!
