Spider-Man 2 for the Sony PSP is looking very promising

Spider-Man 2 for the Sony PSP has a new clip on Gamespot. An "Official Trailer" even. At long last, we get a good look at the gameplay in action.

In one word, impressive.

This is not a side scroller. This is a 3rd person, over-the-shoulder deal with a lot of eye candy to make it sweet.
The clip shows off a bunch of web-swinging, fighting action and hints at a couple of the quests. While the game won't be the free-roaming deal that the consoles enjoyed, it'll offer a new storyline, and the ability to go up against villains that haven't been in any recent SM titles.
