Concord 5042, the first sub-$100 five megapixel digital camera?

We hesitate to think about what kind of pictures you'll get for ninety-nine bucks (that 3D mock-up isn't inspiring much confidence either), but Concord have unwrapped the 5042, the first sub-$100 five megapixel digital camera. No optical zoom lens, but it does have a 1.5-inch LCD screen lapped on the back and 16MB of internal memory (there's a slot for an SD card, too). Should be out sometime before the end of next month.
