Sony admits to PlayStation Portable problem
Sony has finally owned up to at least one defect in the new PlayStation Portable. They say that the problem—which is basically that some controller buttons might get stuck—only affects less than one percent of all portable consoles shipped in 2004 and that none built this year are affected. Sony is offering free repairs for anyone with an affected PSP, though you might be out of luck if you bought yours through an importer, since it's Sony Japan that's obviously going to be handling things.
