Honda to offer GPS on some motorcycles

We always thought most bikers subscribed to the "Born to be Wild" ethos of hitting the open road and "looking for adventure." But if Honda has it right, it seems that at least some of them are actually looking for directions. At least that's what we're led to assume by Honda's plans to add an optional Garmin GPS receiver to some of its motorcycle lines. While the handlebar-mounted unit includes all the usual GPS functions like a color LCD display and voice prompts, we hope they're going to add some biker-specific features like a Bluetooth headset that can be mounted inside a helmet. Somehow, we think the typical voice prompts just won't be loud enough to make it over the din of the road,
and we don't even want to think about what would happen should a biker take a close enough look at that screen to actually use it to get directions.
