CNN stuck their finger in the air and picked up a breeze. It looks like Nintendo may be ready to give us the third portable device in 3 years. Impressive. The new device is rumored to be a GameBoy handheld, with a price of $100 (or
$99.99, take your pick). This could push the price of the SP to $50. File it under rumor, but it seems likely,
considering the wicked competition going on in the portable gaming world right now.

The article ends with a question — are we ready to dish out more money for a Nintendo portable? The DS may have some of us stinging for now, but, yes, if they build it, we will buy.
