A competing Game Boy Advance rumor emerges

As of right now we officially have two competing rumors about
Nintendo's next-generation Game Boy. Yesterday

SPOnG claimed that the new portable console
, which is going to be introduced at E3, will resemble the PlayStation Portable and sport a large LCD screen, analog controls, be based on the
GameCube's technology, and connect to Nintendo's upcoming
Revolution console.
Contradicting all that, today Eurogamer says that Nintendo definitely is going to announce something at E3, but it's going to be a tricked out version of the
Game Boy Advance SP
that will cost $99 and likely incorporate several features that are currently only available as add-ons, like PlayYan's multimedia playback capability and wireless connectivity. This actually jibes more with industry analyst P.J. McNealy's report than what SPOnG is reporting, and it sounds like this new GBA SP would be less of a competitor for the
Nintendo DS.
