Halo 3 will be ready and waiting

According to IGN, Microsoft plans to use Halo 3 to steal thunder from the PlayStation 3 debut.  That's right, Bungie is already hard at work on the next installment of the prized Xbox franchise, ensuring that Halo 3 will be ready to launch whenever Sony nails down a PS3 date.  Now that's downright nasty.
