New iPod mini already using PortalPlayer's new power-efficient chipset?
A few people wrote in about this, and yeah, it does make sense that the new
2G iPod mini is already using
PortalPlayer's new power-efficient chipset
(anyone want to crack theirs open and snap some pics for us?), especially since it does get somewhere around two or three times the battery life of the original iPod mini. The big question is when Apple is going to start putting the new chipset into the 4G iPod and the
iPod photo.
[Thanks everyone who wrote in about this]
