Three robotic arms prove no match for 17-year-old girl
Remember when we told you about that impending Stallone-style
smackdown between robot and human? The arm-wrestling challenge has taken place, and the clear victor in each of three cases was one self-described unskilled contender,
17-year-old Panna Felson of La Costa Canyon High School in La Costa, California. Her mechanical opponents lasted all of twenty-four, four and three seconds respectively — no match for Felson, who was given sideline advice from two visitors with arm-wrestling world titles. Looks like the advice helped — or perhaps the robots need to go back and spend a bit more time in the gym.
