AMD's the latest on virtualization with Pacifica

We've given a little face time to virtualization
before (aka processor partitioning, the ability to make single processors able to simultaneously run multiple operating systems), but it looks like AMD wants to make a splash with the stuff in 2006. Their Pacifica virtualization platform isn't going to beat Intel's Vanderpool product to market, but they seem to have every intention not to be left out of this game. Of course, if you've just got
to virtualize in the mean time, there's always VMware and Virtual Server, both of which run just fine on your out-of-the-box desktop.
