Nintendo president, Satoru Iwata, visits GDC floor. Grown men act like teenage girls.
Satoru Iwata wandered into the GDC Expo area for a little visit to the Nintendo booth. When he passed Sony's PSP
display, he made a face like "Who farted?" — though that may be because someone actually did fart. This is GDC, after all.
He was followed by throngs of fans and reporters (and at least one blogger) who wanted to catch a glimpse of him manhandling a DS. The Nintendo booth was crowded enough without him getting in the way. I thought his presence was really inconsiderate to the guy who was playing Donkey Kong Jungle Beat for eight hours straight.
He spoke with a reporter in Japanese as english-only fans looked on, agreeing with everything he said.
Not much happened, but I did notice I'm taller than him. I could probably kick his ass.
Everyone was jiggling so fast, it was hard to focus.
I think this photog to the right was the farter. Notice how the PS sign looms over Iwata,
as if ready to crush him.
