NHJ's V@mp VP-825 MP3/WMA player with slide cover

Add another offering to NHJ's line of
V@mp portable audio players: the VP-825, which distinguishes itself by including a slide cover that obscures all the controls. Otherwise, the specs aren't too crazy:
2-color organic EL display at 96 x 63 resolution, playback of MP3 and WMA files, USB1.1 (works as a thumb drive,
check), EQ, MP3 encoder to record from FM or via the internal microphone, 11 hour battery life. Initial reactions to the slide cover seem to be love it (simplicity) or hate it (inconvenience). Nonetheless, file under the "dubiously gendered marketing" category the assertion that "the simple yet original external design should appeal to male customers who appreciate refinement." NHJ, WTF?
